Director’s Note
Queer theory exceeded feminist theory by calling out gender as a performance. My play uses this lens to ask if not notions of mind and mental disorders also are constructs? The play also uses playfulness as a tool to play with the normativity of theatre practices and offers a trans-queer vision to engage with themes of gender, sexuality, mental illness and theatre.
Director’s Bio
Zameer Kamble (they/she/he) is a freelance facilitator of workshops on gender, sexuality and queer theatre. He is also a playwright, director and actor.
